TED Ankara College 1978; Ankara Faculty of Medicine in 1984; Specialization in General Surgery at Hacettepe, University of Liverpool, England and Ankara Faculty of Medicine. Lecturer at Ankara Faculty of Medicine between 1993-96; Colorectal Surgery Residency training at MAYO Clinic, USA from 1996-99. Associate Professor in 1999 and Professor at Ankara University in 2004. In 2004, he passed the European Coloproctology Specialist Board exam and became a Coloproctologist specialist.

I am currently a member of the membership committee of the European Society of Coloproctology and a delegate to Eastern European countries. I am a member of the EBSQ General Surgery and Coloproctology Board Exam Commission. I served on the boards of directors and boards of directors including the General Secretary of the National Surgical Association for a period of time I am currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery.
