Digestive System

Digestion in the human digestive tract; It is divided into two as mechanical and chemical digestion. The purpose of physical digestion is to break down molecules into small molecules. The task of chemical digestion is to break down nutrients down to the smallest building block.

What is the digestive system?
The digestive system is the organ system that includes the digestive tube (digestive tract) and digestive glands, which deals with the ingestion and digestion of food in multicellular animals, digestion, absorption of necessary nutrients and energy and elimination of waste substances from the body.
 
What are the digestive organs, respectively? 
It consists of the digestive tube, which curls and stretches throughout the body without interruption, the oral cavity, the pharynx, the esophagus, the stomach, the small intestine and the large intestine. While digestion takes place in the oral cavity, stomach and small intestines; absorption occurs most often in the small intestine.
 
How does the digestive system work?
Food taken orally passes through the esophagus into the stomach. With the burning task of the stomach here, energy intake begins. Then, food, which becomes waste, is excreted by the intestines, which are other organs of the digestive system
